Make-ups may be made up in any age comparable class, within the current dance season, by emailing us at irvine@soflykids.com.
The more classes your family accumulates, the more of an over all discount you receive.
Payments are made through an automatic debit on the 14th of each month for the month to follow. The monthly fee is the same regardless of whether there are 3, 4, or 5 weeks that month as tuition is annual, broken into 10, monthly payments for your convenience.
Tuition payments cover the cost of the class and do not include the Registration or Recital fee*.

*Registration Fee:
$35 charged upon enrollment, and every September thereafter. $35 first student/$15 second, ($50 family max).
*RECITAL/PERFORMANCE FEES:
We will strive to keep all additional performance fees to a minimum, but there are indeed costs necessary to put on a successful show. We will notify you of any upcoming performances with as much notice as possible.

You may cancel any time after your 2-month minimum, as long as you notify us via email, at Kerri@soflykids.com, prior to the 14th of the previous month. For example, If you are canceling your enrollment for the month of March, please email the office before February 14.

So Fly Kids/SFK Academy of Dance reserves the right to cancel any class with insufficient registration and a full refund will be given.

The studio will be closed for major holidays and school vacations following the IUSD calendar as much as possible. Our Great Park Dance Calendar can be viewed HERE.

We accept new students in the summer, and between September and February, when space is available.

The studio calendar year runs from September – June, with a Summer Session July-August.

Please label ALL shoes and dancewear. SFK is not responsible for lost, mixed-up or stolen items.

All communication is sent via email; please keep a current email address updated through the Jackrabbit Parent Portal.
Missed Classes
-
There is no discount, refund, or credit given for missed classes due to illness, or personal commitments. You are welcome to make-up any class missed in any age-appropriate class of your choice at any time of the dance season.
Payments and Balances
-
All studio accounts have one primary account holder. This is the account holder that registers and signs the registration form. This account holder will be the one considered financially responsible for the account.

Billing is on the 14th of every month for the following month.

The school year will consist of 34 weeks of classes held over a ten-month period.

The monthly fee is the same regardless of how many weeks are in the month, as tuition is annual, and broken into 10, monthly payments for your convenience.

If for any reason you decide to discontinue your classes, you are not obligated to pay for the balance of the school year.

Any student with an overdue balance of more than 15 days will not be allowed into class until payment in full is received or payment arrangements have been made, however, you will be responsible for any balance due.

SFK does not mail paper statements from our office for your monthly tuition. You may check your account online at any time.

Registration Fees are non-refundable.

Account Cancellations

Recital/PERFORMANCES (TBD)
Classroom Rules
-
The classroom/studio is the room in which our lessons are instructed.
-
Students should wait until the teacher is present before entering the classroom, unless directed otherwise.
-
All students should exit the classroom at the end of class.
-
Younger students whose parents have not yet arrived for pickup should wait, seated, until their parent/guardian arrives.
-
No food or drink (except closed water bottles) is permitted.
-
Dance shoes should be worn inside the classroom only. Wearing dance shoes outside will ruin the shoe and bring in the dirt to the dance floor.

Please do not enter the studio spaces unless attending a class in that space.

To keep our young dancers focused and free of distractions, we kindly ask that all parents wait away from eye sight.

Dancers are expected to be in class on time and appropriately dressed/warmed up.
