An all inclusive summer camp in Playa Vista that combines art, dance, gymnastics, sports, team building, science, cooking, beach days, and an SFK Carnival EVERY SINGLE WEEK! With daily snacks and lunch INCLUDED, we just might be the best camp in town!

Beach Days!

To add some extra outside time to our week, we have reserved a private area in Playa Del Rey for some fun in the sun at the beach!

  • Beach days will be Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • Each camper will be provided with a long sleeved rashguard. 

  • Each Pod/group will have their own pop-up tent and beach toys. 

  • Transportation will be provided by SFK's own company van, with staggered drop-offs and disinfected between groups.

Drop-Off  & Pick-Up Locations

To ensure utmost safety, drop-off and pick-up will be at the studio.  Check in/out will be done one at a time. Masks are required for parents, and parents/guardians will not be allowed to enter the studio. There will be a hand washing station at the entrance for each camper to utilize before coming in, temperatures will be checked, and a brief wellness survey will be given by our Resident Nurse. Pick-up will be done one-by-one as well. Each camper will wait inside until their guardian has arrived.

COVID-19 Precautions

The following is a detailed description of the protocols we will be following at our So Fly Kids, Inc. Summer Camp. We will be following the LA County Day-Camp Protocol found here and the ACA field guide found here. Camp begins July 6, 2020 and will run Monday through Friday, 8:30-3:00, through August 14. 

 

Our facility has been deep cleaned (CDC certified) and will continue weekly. Medical Grade Filtration H13 True HEPA air purifiers have been installed throughout. 

*SFK is proud to announce that we will have a Registered Nurse on-site all summer to lead our morning check-ins and monitor our campers and staff at all times.*

 

Summary of Daily Camp Safety Practices:

  • Special staff training by a registered nurse will be given to all SFK staff on covid-19 sanitization, best practices, and other safety measures.

  • Drop-off and pick-up will be directly at the studio, and spaced out with social distancing markers. 

  • NO parents or outsiders allowed in our facility, strictly campers and staff.

  • Masks and face shields will be required by all staff, all day.

  • Masks for campers and parents will be required to check-in/out and encouraged for campers throughout the day.

  • Wellness screenings for campers and staff will be taken at the start of each day, including touchless thermometer readings. 

  • A touchless hand washing station will be placed at the entrance of our facility.

  • Touchless hand sanitizer will be placed throughout the facility.

  • There will be 2 groups or “pods” of no more than 12 campers per pod, as recommended by LA County Department of Health.

  • No more than 2 staff members will be assigned to each pod. 

  • Pods will remain constant throughout each week, and will not intermingle.

  • Activities will be adjusted to have little to no contact with plenty of outside time.

  • Each group will have their own set of games, equipment, and materials that will stay with them the entire week, which will be disinfected daily. 

  • Hand-washing will take place before and after every activity.

  • Hospital grade disinfectant will be used on the entire facility, including  before/after each activity.

  • Lunch will be provided in non-reusable prepackaged meals. Disposable utensils will be provided and safely packed in the meal kits.
